Caroline Van Wagoner represents corporations and their executives and directors in complex civil litigation and government and internal investigations. She has experience in all stages of litigation and in a variety of matters, including antitrust and unfair competition, class actions, securities and accounting fraud, commercial disputes, professional malpractice, and intellectual property. Caroline also regularly defends clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission involving possible violations of health care laws, federal securities laws, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Caroline recently represented a health care provider in parallel federal and state class actions that alleged tying and market leveraging. She worked on all aspects of party, third-party, and expert discovery, dispositive motion practice, and trial preparation. Caroline has also represented companies in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries in complex, multijurisdictional investigations.

Caroline maintains an active pro bono practice. Most recently, she helped a mother and her son seek asylum from gang persecution.
