Melissa Blach is a Director in the San Francisco office of KPMG’s U.S. Forensic practice where she serves in the firm’s Investigations, Disputes & Compliance group. Melissa provides privileged consulting and expert witness services to clients and their counsel and has dealt with a broad range of commercial disputes including those resulting from class action litigation, qui tam actions, breach of contract, employment disputes, bankruptcy litigation, and financial statement misstatements. Her experience covers a variety of subject matters, with an emphasis on economic damages and the use of complex data analysis in a litigation context. Melissa has also participated in a wide variety of investigations including those involving the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and allegations of fraud and misconduct. She has served clients across many industries, including insurance, healthcare, utilities and energy, manufacturing, financial services, construction/development and retail.
Melissa has served as a People Management Leader since joining KPMG in 2010. She has been a mentor to numerous individuals over the course of her career and has been nominated for KPMG’s National Mentoring Award. She is also a member of KPMG’s Network of Women (KNOW).
Melissa received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Berkeley.
