RENÉE PESIRI is an associate in Sidley Austin's San Francisco office and practices in the Litigation group. Renée represents clients in white collar, healthcare, securities, contract, and complex ligation matters, and has experience in regulatory matters, including regulatory government investigations.
Renée is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. In law school, Renée participated in the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic, where she co-authored a patent reexamination request on behalf of the Electronic Frontier Foundation challenging a patent repeatedly asserted against municipalities that use vehicle tracking and notification technology. Renée also received the Jurisprudence Award in Information Privacy Law.
Renée earned a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. After college, Renée worked at a tech start-up, where she participated in all aspects of the development and launch of a smart phone app, featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, Mashable, Gizmodo and ABC News.
