Kimberly Friday’s practice focuses on False Claims Act matters, internal investigations, and civil litigation. Kim spent ten years investigating, litigating, and resolving False Claims Act matters on behalf of the federal government, first at the Department of Justice’s Civil Fraud Section in Washington, D.C., and later as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of California, in San Francisco. As the Deputy Chief of the Civil Division in the Northern District of California, Kim led the office’s civil enforcement group, handling and supervising a wide range of matters involving healthcare fraud, financial fraud, and procurement fraud. Kim began her legal career at an Am Law 50 law firm, representing clients in complex, high-stakes litigation and internal investigations involving allegations of criminal and civil securities fraud, breach of contract, and violation of the False Claims Act.
