At Bozorgi Law, PLLC, Cristina focuses on the representation and defense of individuals in criminal, white collar, and SEC matters. She has extensive courtroom experience and is Spanish-speaking. Before joining Bozorgi Law, PLLC, Cristina was a felony trial attorney at The Bronx Defenders in New York City. She also worked to effectuate change in the criminal justice system by testifying on behalf of The Bronx Defenders before the New York City Council Committees. Cristina received her J.D. from Cornell Law School and was an editor of the Cornell Law Review. Cristina also served on the executive board of the Latin American Law Students Association and defended clients accused of capital crimes in trial and appellate proceedings in the Capital Punishment Clinic. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Frank H. T. Rhodes Public Interest Law Fellowship. She returns annually to Cornell Law School to speak regarding her work as a criminal defense attorney and law school fellow.
