Allison May is a Senior Manager in the New York Forensics practice of Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory with a focus on the Life Science and Health Care industry. Allison has more than 15 years of audit and forensic accounting experience and is a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) licensed in the state of New York, Certified in Financial Forensics (“CFF”) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (“CFE”).
Allison’s experience includes the management of several financial investigations involving revenue recognition issues, financial statement fraud, and the misappropriation of assets with a focus on the Life Sciences & Health Care industry. Allison also has experience with purchase price disputes, integrity monitorships, third-party vendor reviews, and Foreign and Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”) violations. In her previous roles, Allison led large teams in a variety of Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) compliance and investigation matters for domestic and global financial institutions. Allison began her career in the audit practice of a Big 4 accounting firm and in the internal audit practice of a publishing and media organization.
