Alex Bailey helps clients tackle a broad range of matters, including white-collar criminal charges, related investigations, and complex civil litigation.
She represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of industries, including the health care, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and education industries. Alex represents her clients in all phases of litigation, including risk analysis, investigations, pleadings, discovery, trial, and appeals.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells US LLP, Alex served as an assistant district attorney in Middlesex County, Mass., where she conducted more than 30 jury trials and argued several cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She also was an associate in the Boston office of a national law firm, where she represented mortgage lenders and servicers in a variety of matters.
Alex began her legal career as an associate at a boutique litigation firm in Providence, R.I. During law school, she served as an intern in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, in The Hague, Netherlands, and she was also an intern in the Public Corruption Unit of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Boston.
Alex enjoys giving back to her community. She is a member of the Local Advisory Board for YouthConnect, an advocacy and intervention program for at-risk youth that works in partnership with the Boston Police Department and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.
