My practice is devoted to representing clients who are facing critical decisions in their lives, often as potential whistleblowers or as potential targets of investigation. Understanding and disentangling fraud on behalf of False Claims Act whistleblowers is a big part of what I do. That work also informs my criminal defense work in demonstrating when there is no fraud, or my client is not part of it. I have tried state and federal cases, civil and criminal. My past experiences in Big Law and boutique law allow me to handle sophisticated cases, but also respond to client's needs with flexibility.
