Vidhi Khanijow’s practice primarily focuses on white collar crime in India, including the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and related issues involving corporate compliance and internal investigations.
Vidhi has extensive experience in Indian anti-corruption laws and other global anti-corruption issues. She assists clients in conducting internal investigations involving accounting irregularities, conflict of interest, financial fraud and regulatory issues; including independent investigations for audit committees of boards of directors. Committed to act in clients' best interests, she is able to provide comprehensive advice in the most complex and sensitive of cases.
She works across a broad spectrum of business sectors with a particular emphasis on oil services, financial services (banking), healthcare and medical device industry. Her work focused on investigations in banking and money markets, includes wide-ranging cases involving impropriety in recognition of non – performing assets/stressed assets and inadequate provisioning of a loan/asset in the books of lender.
Vidhi’s practice also focusses on the implementation or evaluation of anti-corruption due diligence and compliance programs (including compliance with the FCPA) as well as conducting risk assessments for clients.
Vidhi has an audit background, having spent two years at KPMG in New Delhi. In this role, she has regularly conducted end to end audits of mutual funds, hedge funds and asset management companies.
