I am a partner at Zalkind Duncan & Bernstein LLP in Boston, MA, a boutique litigation firm which focuses on criminal defense, employment, and Title IX matters.
My criminal practice includes trial and appellate matters in both state and federal courts where I have represented clients on charges ranging from drug possession and conspiracy, obstruction of justice, money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, securities fraud, and other white collar crimes, murder, and foreign extradition. I have also counseled and assisted clients during federal investigations. I serve on the CJA panel in Boston federal district court.
In my civil practice, I represent employees in cases in state and federal courts and before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), including in cases involving race and sex discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, FMLA, wage & hour, and whistleblower violations. I also advise and represent executives and other professionals in employment and severance negotiations.
My civil practice also includes business-related litigation and the representation of students and faculty in university/academic disciplinary and Title IX proceedings.
