Elizabeth Dean is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in San Francisco. She specializes in forensic accounting, business consulting and valuation services.  With more than 30 years of experience, her primary areas of concentration are commercial damages, fraud, forensic accounting, business consulting, intellectual property matters, and unfair competition matters.  Clients rely on Ms. Dean’s financial expertise to address key financial and accounting issues, identify relevant information and prepare thorough and detailed analyses. She has presented the results of her analysis to client senior management as well as testified as an expert in federal and state courts as well as in U.S. and international arbitrations.  Ms. Dean has worked with clients across various industries, including consumer goods, computer hardware, eCommerce, energy, financial services, high technology, insurance, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, real estate, retail, software, telecommunications and utilities.  Ms. Dean earned a bachelor’s degree in math and economics from Claremont McKenna College and completed the Technology Transfer and Commercialization Program at the University of California at Berkeley. Ms. Dean is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP).
