Cristina I. Calvar is a Partner in Winston & Strawn’s New York office. An experienced litigator, she represents clients in white collar matters, government and internal investigations, and related civil litigation, often on multiple fronts at once. Cristina maintains an active pro bono practice, where she dedicates time representing clients in civil rights and immigration matters. Active in her legal community, she serves as the Secretary for the Federal Bar Council’s Diversity Committee. Prior to joining Winston & Strawn, Cristina clerked for the Honorable David C. Guaderrama of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. Cristina received a B.A. in Political Science and B.F.A. in Dance, high honors, from the University of Michigan, and a J.D., cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School.
