Samantha Koeppe-Duncan, CPA, CFE, MBA, MS

EXPERIENCE

Samantha is a Senior Manager in BDO’s Cincinnati office, focusing on complex damage calculations, fraud investigations, and anti-bribery/corruption. She has served with the firm for over ten years.

She has experience managing teams focusing on forensic accounting and fraud-related matters, including litigation support, complex damages calculations, financial statement fraud, embezzlement, kickbacks, international anti-corruption due diligence, partnership disputes, multinational asset tracing and reconciliation, e-discovery, joint venture/M&A due diligence. She proactively assists companies with risk assessments, developing and implementing anti-corruption and anti-fraud best practices, and continuous testing and monitoring.

Samantha has experience on domestic and international engagements for public and private organizations across various industries.

She previously specialized in BDO’s assurance practice where she was industry focused and was active in the firm’s technology, life sciences, manufacturing, and restaurant practices. Samantha provided a variety of accounting services for her clients, including audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting assistance and served as a business advisor to her clients. She also focused on Information Systems technology and SSAE 16/SOC audits.

In addition to Samantha’s role at BDO, she was selected as one of twenty across the Nation to participate in the Accelerate Leadership program and as one of twenty-five across the Nation to serve on the Early Career Council (ECC) at BDO. She is also the local Champion of the BDO Women’s Initiative and the BDO Green Initiative. She founded and facilitate Cincinnati’s Women’s CFO Roundtable.

Samantha is a passionate advocate of the community, actively creating opportunities for local groups to volunteer and give back, while in tandem networking and growing professionally.

Samantha is a past recipient of the BDO CLIMB award for embracing change and is a former graduate of the SS&G Leadership Academy. She graduated from the Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce Cincy Next Leadership Program, where she sharpened her leadership skills.
