ALEXANDRIA DAUGHERTY is an associate in the Commercial Litigation and White Collar practices at Sidley Austin LLP where she focuses on representing individual and corporate clients in connection with investigations and enforcement actions by government agencies.
Alexandria was also part of a pro bono team that received the 2019 Humanitarian Award from the ACLU of Southern California for representing a U.S. citizen who was unlawfully detained by ICE officers and threatened with deportation.
Prior to joining Sidley, Alexandria was a securities enforcement and litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of WilmerHale. In addition, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Sterling Johnson, Jr. in Brooklyn, NY and served as an intern in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Alexandria earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and managing editor of the Columbia Journal of Race and Law. She received her B.A. in international politics from Pennsylvania State University.
