Camille Knight concentrates her practice in federal criminal and civil matters. She has represented individuals and companies at all stages of criminal and quasi criminal proceedings. She has represented clients in most substantive types of federal criminal investigations and proceedings, ranging from complex fraud allegations (securities, bankruptcy, healthcare, government contracting, mail, wire) to violent crimes (Hobbes Act robberies, human trafficking, firearms trafficking, drug conspiracies). She has also represented individuals in federal capital habeas proceedings. Camille has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts in Texas and Illinois during her 20 years of practice.
Camille has represented companies and municipalities in federal civil litigation involving alleged antitrust violations, trademark and trade secret misappropriation, civil rights violations, contract actions, construction litigation and products liability matters. She has also advised companies on issues including employment law, contract, trademark, securities, and oil & gas.
Camille began her career after attending The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, graduating magna cum laude. She then served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Paul D. Stickney. Camille honed her criminal trial and appellate skills working at the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Dallas, as well as practicing at large firms in both Dallas and Chicago.
Camille serves as the national CJA panel representative for the Northern District of Texas and as Secretary/Treasurer of the William "Mac" Taylor American Inn of Court.
