Bio

Sunethra has a strong commitment to fighting injustice throughout the legal system. Primarily representing those accused of crimes in federal court, Sunethra's main focus is to protect the constitutional rights of the accused.

Now, as of January 2025, Sunethra has launched Muralidhara Law, LLC to do just that: continue her efforts to protect the rights of the accused as well as represent individuals in the justice system navigating through their own cases, whether criminal or civil.  While licensed to practice in Nevada, Sunethra focuses on federal criminal defense on a national level, representing clients in all jurisdictions across the USA (Except Puerto Rico).

Muralidhara Law LLC's main focus is to provide contract legal services, to federal criminal defense attorneys and civil litigators across the USA. Sunethra works on all types of cases, mainly focusing in white collar defense/investigations, fraud cases, federal criminal copyright, antitrust, money laundering, theft and embezzlement, drug crimes, gun crimes, sexual abuse, child pornography, assault and battery, robbery, kidnapping, murder, illegal reentry, various conspiracy charges, federal petty and misdemeanor offenses, and supervised release violations. She has also prepared Applications for Clemency (Pardons and Commutations), Motions for Early Termination, Motions for Compassionate Release, and even petitioned the Bureau of Prisons, assisting clients with the administrative process while incarcerated. She has a knack for preparing and presenting substantial client mitigation for sentencing and obtaining just results for her clients.

Her main role is to assist federal criminal defense practitioners on complex federal cases across the country when those practitioner's require assistance on their cases.  Anything from legal research, discovery review, motion practice to sentencing mitigation/PSR prep, and Clemency applications.  No aspect of a federal case is off limits.  Sunethra has had the experience and is able to assist.

Sunethra has been an attorney for more than 10 years, starting off her career in insurance defense, and then transitioning towards federal criminal defense as an Assistant Federal Public Defender. After a few years serving the indigent population, she decided to move into private practice.

Now, she will continue this work on a contract basis with attorneys across the United States. If you need assistance on any aspect of a federal criminal case or have a client looking for assistance with a Clemency application, please do reach out!
