I am a lawyer and expert in the use of innovative technology in litigation and investigations. I consult on complex cross border disputes and investigations, including class actions in Europe, advising on how best to manage them.
I also advise on and help arrange experts to work in tandem with legal teams involved in litigation, arbitration, and investigations, working closely with economists, accountants, fraud specialists, forensic accountants, asset tracers, crypto investigators and AI specialists.
As an attorney admitted in South Africa, my background is in complex commercial litigation in banking, fraud and insolvency, having practiced in South Africa, Australia and the UK. I have 25 years experience In the legal sector as a lawyer and consultant in a variety of international jurisdictions.
I am responsible for client relationships and strategic business development at FTI. I leverage my in-depth knowledge of specialist legal practice areas to help professionals grow their practices and respond to new market opportunities.
Because of my interest in thought leadership and the future of law, I speak at conferences and write on the impact of technology on law and business and maintain contributions to several books including:
• the book "International Ediscovery, a Global Handbook of Law and Technology”, published by Global Law and Business
• the Sweet & Maxwell Encyclopaedia of IT Law on the topic of “The Management of Technology Related Risks”.
