Prior to joining The Noble Law, Becca worked for over a decade with the U.S. Department of Justice. Becca first role with the DOJ was as Assistant General Counsel for the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys.
In that role, Becca provided advice and counsel to employers and handled litigation concerning Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and other federal employment statutes. Becca provided representation in front of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Merit Systems Protections Board.
In addition, Becca was an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of North Carolina. As an AUSA, Becca handled a variety of federal litigation, including the False Claims Act, white collar investigations, and employment discrimination matters. Becca also clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Guillermo R. Garcia for the Southern District of Texas.
