Panel Discussion: The UK, French and Swiss International Anti-Corruption Prosecutorial Taskforce: How Will it Work in Practice? 

Pascale Köster

Partner, Walder Wyss

Pascale Köster is partner at Walder Wyss in Zurich. Her practice focuses on corporate and regulatory investigations as well as complex dispute resolution. She is highly experienced in conducting internal investigations and advising on enforcement actions, often in sensitive, high-stakes matters involving cross-border elements. Pascale regularly supports clients in navigating crisis situations requiring swift, strategic response.

Her practice centers on white-collar crime, with a strong emphasis on matters involving the financial services, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industries

She earned her Master of Law (MLaw) from the University of Bern in 2013, specializing in International and European Law. Before joining Walder Wyss as a junior associate in 2013, she worked as a law clerk at the District Court of Berner Jura-Seeland. Pascale was admitted to the bar in 2016. To further strengthen her investigative expertise, she completed a Master of Advanced Studies in Economic Crime Investigation (MAS ECI) at the Lucerne School of Business in 2021.

Fluent in German, English, and French, Pascale is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice throughout Switzerland.

Caroline Day

Partner, Criminal Litigation, Kingsley Napley

Caroline is an investigations specialist. She advises organisations and individuals caught up in serious and complex criminal and regulatory investigations. She has extensive experience in this area and conducts internal investigations on behalf of her corporate clients when allegations of misconduct arise. 

Caroline advises companies and individuals in connection with investigations by enforcement authorities including the UK SFO, FCA, CMA and various regulatory bodies.  Much of Caroline’s work is sensitive, high profile and multi-jurisdictional. Caroline advises clients in a wide range of cases in the white collar and business crime sphere, in cases involving allegations of serious fraud, money laundering, corruption, cartels, and environmental crime, alongside other alleged misconduct. She has extensive experience conducting internal investigations and reviews on behalf of organisations and her cases often span multiple jurisdictions.

Caroline was named in Global Investigation Review's Top 100 Women in Investigations survey 2018, a survey profiling one hundred investigations specialists from around the world. She co-author's the chapter on witness interviews (UK perspective) for GIR's The Practitioners Guide to Global Investigations, and is the Vice Chair of the Fraud Lawyers Association. She is also listed in the Lexology Index Investigations Report 2025 as Recommended, as a leading Partner in Legal 500 and is ranked in Chambers UK.

Ophelia Claude

Partner, Paul Hastings

Ophélia Claude is a partner in the Investigations and White Collar Defense practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Paris office. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of white collar crime, compliance, and investigations, with a strong focus on vigilance, corporate sustainability due diligence, and ESG-related litigation. Shula de Jersey

Partner, BCL Solicitors LLP

Shula is a Partner at BCL Solicitors LLP a boutique criminal defence practice based in London..   She specialises in business crime and regulation with particular expertise in representing individuals in domestic and international matters involving allegations of complex and serious fraud, money laundering, bribery and corruption.   She also has experience in health and safety investigations having represented both individuals and corporates in relation to workplace accidents and deaths.    She has acted in numerous high-profile matters including a senior executive in the SFO’s bribery and corruption investigation into Airbus; a senior financial officer of Serco in the SFO’s investigation concerning allegations of false accounting and a senior English barrister in respect of a cross-border investigation into allegations of bribery in Trinidad.   She is currently representing the former Chief Financial Officer of London Mining in relation to an ongoing SFO prosecution relating to allegations of bribery of public officials in Sierra Leone.

She is ranked in Band 2 for Financial Crime (Individuals) and Band 3 for Financial Crime High Net Worth Individuals by Chambers & Partners, a Leading Individual in Legal 500's Fraud White Collar Crime (advice to individuals), is recognised as a recommended lawyer in Who's Who Legal: Investigations and Best Lawyers: Fraud.
