A former Ninth Circuit clerk, Amanda McDowell specializes in white collar criminal defense and complex commercial litigation.
Amanda represents companies and individuals in connection with criminal and civil enforcement actions, with a particular focus on health care matters. She also represents clients in complex commercial litigation and appeals. Prior to joining Orrick, Amanda served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard C. Tallman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Amanda was also formerly a professional tennis player and competed in tournaments around the world.
