Casey Trombley-Shapiro Jonas is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Zuckerman Spaeder.
Before joining the firm, Casey clerked for the Honorable Ketanji Brown Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the Honorable Paul J. Watford of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Casey graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law where she was Articles Editor for the Virginia Law Review. While in law school, she was President of Virginia Law Women and participated in the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. Casey received the Thomas Marshall Miller Prize, was a recipient of the National Association of Women Lawyers Award and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association Trial Advocacy Award, and was a Mary Claiborne and Roy H. Ritter Scholar. Prior to law school, Casey worked as an artist and a legislative staff member for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer.
