Kyla Curley, a Partner with StoneTurn, has over 20 years of experience with financial investigations, forensic accounting, and business litigation. She leads complex and fast-paced financial-related investigations and provides consultation to companies, counsel, and regulatory agencies.

Kyla’s experience includes accounting investigations related to revenue recognition, reserves, asset misappropriation, and the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). Kyla has experience investigating and analyzing and tracing cash flows and other assets, including cryptocurrency and other digital assets, on behalf of investors, creditors, regulators, and other stakeholders. Kyla also has experience conducting compliance reviews and investigations, including compliance with or potential violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and False Claims Act (FCA).

Kyla also provides expert witness services in complex business litigation matters, including partnership and purchase price disputes, professional malpractice, personal injury, alleged self-dealing or asset misappropriation, and other matters involving the calculation of economic damages.

Kyla has experience across a range of industries, including financial services, life sciences, technology and public sector.

Kyla is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the AICPA and, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Kyla is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) by ACAMS and Certified Cryptocurrency Auditor by the Blochain Council.
