I am a lawyer specialising in Financial Services Regulation. I advise on regulatory issues applying to credit institutions, insurance undertaking and intermediaries, investment firms, electronic money institutions and payment institutions. I also advises new entrants to the Irish market on the authorisation process with the Central Bank, AML, consumer credit, fitness and probity compliance with the Central Bank and Central Bank enforcement actions.
I practiced as a barrister for seven years in the Irish criminal courts, defending minor offences to serious indictable offences before a jury. I have a professional qualification in White Collar Crime, Corporate Crime and Regulatory Offences.
