Lisa Van Houten, a Managing Director with StoneTurn, has more than a decade of combined experience in complex accounting, auditing, internal controls and compliance matters.
Lisa worked on the Forensic Adviser team supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)-Appointed Independent Compliance Monitor and Auditor of Volkswagen AG – one of the largest and most high-profile corporate compliance monitorships in history. She is also on the team supporting the Monitoring Trustee, appointed by the DOJ, in his role related to the oversight of compliance with obligations within a Stipulation and Order and Final Judgment related to the merger of two leading wireless telecommunications service providers.
In addition to monitorship and compliance work, Lisa has also led numerous forensic accounting investigations, risk assessment and internal audits.
Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Illinois.
