Brunna Padovan Ortega de Almeida is currently a mid-level associate in TozziniFreire’s compliance and investigation practice group. She has joined the team in 2018. In addition to having experience in designing and implementing compliance programmes, she also represents foreign listed companies on complex and cross-border internal investigations, involving corruption, fraud and bid rigging practices. She focuses on assisting clients before Brazilian authorities in the context of negotiating leniency agreements. She graduated from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo Brazil having attended one semester of law school in ESADE in Barcelona, Spain. Brunna has recently attended the International Anti-Corruption Academy’s Course on Fighting Corruption in Public Procurement.
