Anna Estevao’s practice focuses on criminal defense and commercial litigation. She devotes significant time to the firm’s pro bono work.
Prior to joining Sher Tremonte, Ms. Estevao was a trial attorney at the Federal Defenders of San Diego, where she represented indigent criminal defendants in federal court.
Ms. Estevao graduated magna cum laude from N.Y.U. School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern scholar, served as an editor of the N.Y.U. Law Review, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She received her bachelor’s degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, with distinction in the Anthropology major.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Estevao clerked for the Hon. Denny Chin on the Second Circuit and the Hon. Vernon S. Broderick on the Southern District of New York. She is admitted to practice in New York, California, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
