Irene has experience in the Forensic Technology field since 2009. She is specialised in eDiscovery and Computer Forensics.
Irene has managed the technical side of a varied range of projects including FCPA cases, antitrust and competition assignments, internal investigations, disputes and compliance issues, and worked with regulators such as the FCA, FRC, SEC or European Competition Commission. As a result of this broad experience, Irene is proficient at understanding the clients’ needs while complying with the regulators’ requisites.
In regards to Computer Forensics examinations and the analysis of digital evidence, Irene has collaborated on a variety of cases including intellectual property theft, impersonation or lawful dismissal, among others. Likewise her colleagues in the KPMG Digital Forensics team, Irene dedicates part of her time to innovation and development, making sure our practice is at the cutting edge.
In the last 4 years, Irene has lead projects focused on the contention, response and investigation of cyberattacks and advised multinational companies on the preparation, prevention and detection of incidents coming from the outside or the inside.
Irene also has an extensive experience in the writing of Expert Witness reports of technical background and in ratifying them in court.
