An adept criminal litigation lawyer, Emmeline brings extensive experience across a range of white-collar crime matters – acting in complex cases across jurisdictions.
Emmeline has defended in numerous complex criminal fraud prosecutions, and is particularly experienced acting in matters brought by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), as well as HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). She also has experience of confiscation proceedings.
Emmeline graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2002, completed her LPC at the College of Law in Guildford and trained at Irwin Mitchell LLP. She is the former Chair of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association and a member of the Fraud Lawyers Association and Women in Criminal Law. Since 2010, Emmeline has mentored students at the University of Law studying the GDL, LPC and BVC.
