Katherine Graham is a litigator with a diverse practice, representing clients in civil and criminal litigation as well as arbitration. She has experience in general commercial and contract litigation, complex business disputes, white collar criminal defense, professional negligence and tort defense, products liability defense, and personal injury and wrongful death defense. She regularly assists clients in a variety of industries, including banking and finance, manufacturing, and health care. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in North Carolina.

Prior to joining Parker Poe, Katherine received her combined law degree and Master of Laws in international and comparative law from the Duke University School of Law, where she served on the Mock Trial Board and engaged in significant pro bono efforts on behalf of the North Carolina Innocence Project and Duke’s Guantanamo Defense Clinic. During her time at Duke, she served as a judicial extern with the Rwandan Supreme Court and a prosecutorial extern at the Rwandan Public Prosecution Authority in Kigali, Rwanda, where she focused her work on assisting in the remaining domestic genocide and crimes against humanity cases.

Preceding law school, Katherine received her Master of Science in comparative politics with a specialty in conflict studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where her dissertation “Why Sequencing Matters: Peace Versus Justice in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and Liberia” received a distinction.   

Katherine is a member of Parker Poe’s Recruiting Committee, Associates Committee, and Community Service Committee.
