An experienced trial attorney, Margarita K. O’Donnell Morales focuses on white collar criminal defense and civil matters, representing individuals and corporations in government investigations, criminal prosecutions, and complex civil disputes.
Maggie also served as a former public defender for the District of Columbia, where she represented hundreds of felony and misdemeanor clients and brought numerous cases to trial.
Maggie maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on criminal defense and immigration matters. She is active in the American Bar Association as a member of the Planning Committee for the National Institute on White Collar Crime, which organizes the ABA’s white collar criminal defense conference annually. Maggie is also a Board Member of Rising for Justice (formerly D.C. Law Students in Court), and a member of the Hispanic Bar Association.
