Martina Rozumberkova is a Principal within Control Risks’ Compliance, Forensics and Intelligence practice in the Americas region, specializing in providing compliance and forensic investigation services to the life science industry.
Martina has more than seventeen years of in-depth experience with conducting compliance and anti-fraud reviews, fraud and forensic investigations, and investigations involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”), both domestically and internationally. She has also assisted clients with developing and implementing global compliance programs and internal control frameworks, and conducting forensic and regulatory compliance reviews required under U.S. laws and regulations. Additionally, Martina has helped companies in addressing government and regulatory actions, and she has also led and managed teams to conduct monitorships mandated by the US government and its regulatory agencies.
Representative projects:
- Providing ongoing support for domestic and international commercial compliance investigations for three major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the US, Latin America and Russia.
- Developed and implemented a commercial compliance monitoring program for the launch of a new product for a large pharmaceutical company.
- Collaborated with a life science client to conduct a comprehensive review of its commercial compliance program, risk assessments, and assessments of internal controls and corporate investigation methodologies. Assessed the effectiveness of internal controls and methodologies and prepared recommendations for enhancements and remediation. Supported the execution of the remediation plans.
