Ms. Arteaga has 15 years of experience, with the bulk of her expertise in litigation, investigations, and trials (federal and state, civil and criminal). She provides experienced, focused assistance in a variety of matters, from conducting and advising on internal investigations to representing clients before the SEC, DOJ, and other government offices. She serves as outside General Counsel for select clients.
She previously worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of California, where she was nominated twice for the Attorney General’s Award for Exceptional Service. Prior to that, Ms. Arteaga was a litigator at Latham & Watkins LLP in the San Francisco and Paris offices.
The breadth of Ms. Arteaga’s expertise has caused her practice to expand to outside general counsel services for corporate clients. Her clients find her litigation experience brings value to business negotiations, corporate governance, board presentations, and in the hiring and managing of specialized outside counsel.
She graduated from the University of Chicago Law School and University of California at Berkeley. She is licensed to practice in California.
