Bio

Jeanine Kerridge, partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP offers expansive hands-on experience and skill in prosecuting and defending white collar matters, contract disputes, fraud and unfair competition claims, securities actions, business dissolution disputes, trade secret misappropriation, and the defense of government licenses and procurement awards before public agencies.

Jeanine also has an extensive background in government and public policy and seeks to remain at the forefront of emerging legal and policy issues, including the legalization of medical marijuana in various jurisdictions around the country and the growing popularity of concierge medicine and direct primary care.
She represents government agencies and private entities in constitutional and regulatory disputes and also has advised political clients on constitutionally permissible speech and voting initiatives. In addition, Jeanine represents a number of school and education clients, including serving as outside general counsel to a large urban public school district, handling day-to-day advice and major litigation.

Committed to evaluating and resolving litigation in the context of each client’s specific financial goals and operational concerns, Jeanine is dedicated to taking the time to understand what each client actually wants to accomplish, and how litigation fits into that objective. She strives to consistently provide her clients with viable paths to resolution, whether that involves a settlement or a full court battle. Regardless of the challenge or difficulty of the matter, Jeanine’s experience helps her to serve as an astute negotiator and persuasive advocate who understands the law and the underlying business considerations of each claim – and particularly, the impact on her client’s bottom line.

A dedicated team player, Jeanine can take on varied and complicated cases and quickly get up to speed on the relevant facts and circumstances, designing a tactical approach to problem-solving that parallels the client’s objectives.
