Marilee is a former federal and Maryland state prosecutor, and her practice is devoted to government investigations and enforcement actions, conducting internal investigations, and litigation in the health care and commercial space.
Based in Maryland but raised in Rocky Mountains, Marilee has handled cases from the West Coast to the East Coast. She has received federal and state awards for her outstanding work. This includes leading federal and state criminal matters; federal investigations pursuant to the federal False Claims Act (FCA) and the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act (FIRREA); federal and state investigations involving Medicaid Fraud Control Units (MFCUs); and federal asset forfeiture matters.
Prior to this government service, Ms. Miller was a senior counsel and associate in Washington, D.C. at a global law firm. A Western native, Marilee completed clerkships with the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah and the Utah Supreme Court.
Before starting her legal career, Marilee was a reporter in Washington, D.C.
