Sonja Maeder Morvant is a partner with Reiser Avocats, in which she heads the white collar crime and investigation practice. She mainly specializes in white collar crime, mutual judicial assistance matters, corporate investigations, compliance matters, asset tracing, the law of armed conflicts, as well as general commercial litigation. Sonja has acted as counsel for both individuals and corporate entities and notably acts in complex multi-jurisdictional proceedings. Sonja has been a guest lecturer in economic criminal law as part of the Executive MBA program of the University of Geneva for many years,
Sonja is senior Vice-chair of the Business Crime Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and a member of the American Bar Association (ABA). She is also a member of the Geneva Bar Association and the Swiss Bar Association (SAV/FSA).
Since 2014, she is ranked among the best Business Crime Defence and Investigations Lawyers by the International Who’s Who legal guide.
