Shivani has over a decade of experience in advising and representing a diverse range of clients on the entire gamut of dispute resolution including criminal litigation and internal investigations, civil and commercial litigation, arbitration and constitutional matters. She has handled several high-profile matters pertaining to insolvency and bankruptcy, economic offences including corruption and bribery, sexual harassment, women and children’s rights etc. She is passionate about pro bono litigation and endeavours to devote time to several legal aid initiatives taken by the State. She specialises in ADR, white collar crimes, bribes, kickbacks, cybercrime and regularly advises on pre-litigation strategy, arrest and pre-arrest strategies and is adept at drafting and appearing before the various courts and tribunals.
Prior to founding S&LL, Shivani was an independent counsel and worked with prominent senior counsels. Shivani read the law from Amity Law School, Delhi (GGSIP University), and obtained an LL.M. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, followed by an M. Phil. in Criminology from the University of Cambridge. In 2016, she was enrolled as an Attorney at Law, State of New York and regularly advises various individuals / entities overseas in matters involving India and other markets.
