I am in the Forensics and Litigation Consulting practice of FTI Consulting and am based in Houston. I have over 14 years of experience in providing litigation support through developing valuation models for complex energy-related disputes. The disputes have included contract, regulation, pricing and royalty litigation over crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, water and electricity as well as IP theft litigation. My functions involve assisting in the development of settlement strategies and expert reports for trial.
Prior to FTI, I worked for International Drawback Services (IDS) facilitating duty drawback on imports of steel and titanium alloys for our clients and automating the drawback process to maximize clients' tariff recovery opportunities.
Prior to IDS, I held various accounting positions in Continental Airlines where I handled the accounts payable operation for the Canadian airport stations and I streamlined the reconciliation of the refunds issued by all national and international airport stations. I also contributed to the implementation phase of a web-based accounting software that tracked e-ticket sales, taxes, travel certificate usage, refunds, etc..
My experience also includes work in the healthcare industry as it relates to private practice operations, insurance benefits, claims & appeals and patient collections from my time in the private dermatology practice of Dr. Joseph S. Alexander, M.D., P.A.
PERSONAL
I am advocate for people with autism and their families and for minorities in the workplace. I am an avid DIYer, specially when it involves woodwork.
