Cristal Brun is a Partner at Yip Associates in the Miami office.
Ms. Brun has 20 years of experience in forensic accounting investigations, business valuation, and economic damages for publicly-traded, closely-held, and public sector entities. Ms. Brun specializes in providing expert witness and consulting services in matters involving commercial and civil litigation, government investigations, and bankruptcy. Ms. Brun has provided expert testimony and has led various consulting engagements involving financial reporting, design and implementation of internal processes, business valuations, fraud investigations, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) enforcement proceedings, as well as calculation of damages involving lost profits, lost business value, and lost earnings in contract disputes, intellectual property, tort claims, False Claims Act matters, antitrust matters, and professional liability claims, among others. She has worked in these areas in U.S. State and Federal Courts and in international matters.
Prior to joining Yip Associates, Ms. Brun was a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Disputes and Investigations practice. Prior to A&M, she practiced dispute analysis and investigations with Navigant Consulting, Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Cristal is originally from Puerto Rico, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Pennsylvania State University.
