Kathleen Sacks is a senior associate in the Washington, D.C. office of King & Spalding. Kathleen focuses on complex commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense, including cross-border investigations and disputes.
Kathleen represents companies and individuals across various industries in high-stakes matters. Her clients include financial institutions, telecommunications providers, and specialty chemical and consumer products companies.
Kathleen handles contract disputes, business tort claims, shareholder disputes, professional liability claims, and consumer class actions and is well-versed in all aspects of civil litigation, with extensive experience in motions practice, trial preparation and depositions, and appellate briefing.
Kathleen is also experienced in conducting internal investigations, defending clients across the globe before domestic and foreign government enforcement authorities, including the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Kathleen served as the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers from 2010-2012.
