Like bacon on a maple bar, I come up with novel ideas to ensure my clients maximize their position. As a colleague in our Faegre Drinker Chicago office, my practice focuses on analyzing commercial business disputes up to and through litigation, navigating corporate internal investigations, and white-collar and government criminal defense work. I have experience handling the various stages of a variety of commercial litigation matters, including claims for breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, securities laws, and alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. I have also represented clients before the SEC, DOJ, and CFTC. I am a member of the State Bar of Illinois, the American Bar Association, and am admitted to practice before the United States District and Seventh Circuit Courts for the Northern District of Illinois. I previously clerked for the Office of Regional Counsel for U.S. EPA's Region 5 and served as an extern for the Honorable Marvin E. Aspen of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. I currently serve in leadership positions for the Public Interest Law Initiative and Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice.
