Bio

As a graduate of the University of Washington's Master's of Professional Accounting program, I began my career in KPMG's Internal Audit and Risk Consulting Services, where I was able to gain knowledge and experience in various industries and companies. From managing internal audits of call deflection programs to year end SOX audits for a financial services company, I honed my skills in data gathering and analysis, gap identification, and simple presentation of complex findings. My real passion lay in forensic investigation, a career path that I pursued from my start. After transferring into KPMG's Forensic Advisory Services, I've been able to be part of multiple complex investigations, compliance overhauls, litigation support, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption program build outs/reviews. I continuously grow my knowledge base in interviewing techniques, strategic data analysis, and multiple forensic related certifications (CFF and CFE). These roles have allowed me to combine my love of numbers with my need to solve the puzzle that lies before me.

Various activities that I enjoy are running, skiing, golfing, hiking, and travelling the world; all usually done while listening to true crime podcasts and audio books.

Beyond gaining as much experience as I can through KPMG, I would love to one day become an expert witness. I am in the process of learning more data driven technical skills and refreshing my Spanish language knowledge to help diversify my value and enable myself to be involved in more opportunities in the future.
