Bio

Koren (Kori) Bell is a partner in Willkie’s Litigation Department, where she is a member of the White-Collar Defense Practice and the Strategic Motions & Appeals Practice Group.

A nationally recognized litigator and former federal public defender, Kori’s practice focuses on white-collar defense matters, complex commercial litigation, and government and internal investigations.  She has been lead counsel in some of the nation’s most complex and highly-publicized trials and appeals—including in a case she argued before the U.S. Supreme Court.  In courtrooms around the country, Kori has handled high-stakes matters for prominent clients across a range of industries—including entertainment, technology, pharmaceutical, transportation, construction, real estate and sports—in a variety of areas, from complex business disputes to all manner of white-collar crime. She is known as a tenacious and creative advocate and has earned praise from judges for her courtroom skill—described as “superb,” “topnotch,” and among “the best I’ve seen.”

After graduating from Yale Law School, Kori began her career as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

She is active in the community as a member of the Board of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association Judicial Externship Committee, the ABA Judicial Intern Opportunity Program, and the Chancery Club.
