Ann Marie Wick is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting in the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a solutions-oriented, global Finance and Compliance executive known for driving significant global internal control improvements in an efficient and collaborative manner. With experience working in six of the seven continents, Ann Marie has more than 25 years of global compliance, external and internal audit expertise focused on the consumer products and manufacturing industries.
As a former corporate compliance executive, Ann Marie specializes in developing best-in-class global compliance programs from its inception whether as a result of a government investigation or as a proactive measure by a corporation. She also has extensive experience in designing and implementing improvements in existing programs. Ann Marie’s expertise includes anti-bribery/anti-corruption, economic trade sanctions, financial internal controls, and Board reporting.
FTI Consulting has opened the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office with Ann Marie's leadership. Prior to joining FTI Consulting Ann Marie held executive compliance and internal audit positions in large and medium sized multi-national companies. In these roles, she designed and led programs to ensure compliance with global anti-bribery and anti-corruption legislation including, among others, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the Brazilian Clean Companies Act and the UK Bribery Act. Ann Marie has extensive experience in developing risk assessments, due diligence and training of third parties and acquisition targets. Ann Marie also implemented monitoring protocols to ensure compliance with OFAC trade sanctions.
In addition to her global compliance program design, she has extensive experience in restructuring companies’ ethics programs including rewriting codes of conduct, designing and executing ethics training across multiple continents, and redesigning whistleblower investigations and reporting to the Board of Directors. Ann Marie has also developed and led a world-class internal audit department for a new SEC registrant.
Ann Marie started her career in the audit and assurance advisory practice of one of the Big 4 public accounting firms. Recognized by her compliance executive peers and professional organizations as an expert in designing and executing global compliance programs, Ann Marie regularly speaks at conferences on this topic and on compliance best practices.
Ann Marie is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Internal Auditor. She is an adjunct professor of Auditing at Marquette University and a regular guest lecturer in the university’s Management Ethics courses focusing on corporate ethics in a global economy.
