Ayana focuses her practice on government investigations and white-collar litigation. Before joining McGuireWoods, Ayana earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center where she served on the Executive Board of the Black Law Students Association and was a member of the Faculty-Student Admissions Committee. She was an articles editor for the Georgetown Journal of Law and Modern Critical Race Perspectives. Ayana also served as a law clerk for Georgetown’s Supreme Court Institute and externed for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law in the Education Opportunities Project.
