Originally from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Tomi received her undergraduate degree in English and American Literature from New York University. Her passion for the written word continued as she concurrently obtained her law and business degrees from Tulane. While in New Orleans, Tomi clerked with the Judiciary Commission of Louisiana, working diligently to provide accurate research and well-reasoned solutions regarding the ethical and procedural rules of practice.
Before joining Terpening Law, Tomi served as Director of Business Operations for a leading patent litigation firm in Washington, DC. In her role, Tomi developed the ability to navigate complex business problems and apply her legal skills in new, unique, and creative ways. Tomi’s background in both business and law allow for her to provide Terpening Law clients with real-world solutions for complex legal issues.
