Rachel serves as a Director in Prescient’s Investigation Practice, leading and conducting complex investigations, due diligence, and asset traces on behalf of corporate stakeholders and their counsel. She is a public records subject matter expert and is adept at navigating litigation filings, regulatory proceedings, and corporate records to uncover critical intelligence. Rachel joined Prescient from Berkeley Research Group’s (BRG) Global Investigations & Strategic Intelligence Group, where she served as a Senior Managing Consultant. Prior to BRG, she served as an Associate Director at Kroll where she conducted complex investigative research for executive background checks, litigation support, and business intelligence projects. Before entering the private investigations sector, she worked in performing arts management for almost ten years after graduating with a degree in theater studies.

Rachel’s investigative work has included dozens of due diligence investigations for some of the largest commercial banks and private equity funds in the United States, as well as probity investigations for three state lottery systems. She has also performed investigatory work in support of federal and special prosecutors, and background investigations of candidates for a high-profile government position.

Rachel’s work has uncovered undisclosed business interests, misstatements in education credentials and work achievements, histories of unprofitable business decisions, regulatory proceedings against subject companies and individuals, and connections to convicted members of organized crime. Her work has also revealed fraudulent business claims of a purported investor, and a pattern of mischaracterizations from an opposing expert witness who had previously been sanctioned by the court.
