Bio

I am a former federal prosecutor with extensive trial and investigative experience. I represent clients in connection with sensitive government and internal investigations, as well as in high-stakes litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. I am particularly adept at Title IX investigations related to sex- and race-based harassment and discrimination and assault, and am additionally experienced at investigations into suspected fraudulent conduct, embezzlement, retaliation, conflicts of interest, and breaches of fiduciary duty.

I held trial-level and leadership positions at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California where I led teams investigating and prosecuting crimes involving medical professionals and pharmacies engaged in the illegal distribution of controlled substances and related health care fraud, money laundering, and violations of the Anti-Kickback Act, in addition to wire and bank fraud, child exploitation offenses, violent crime, and drug trafficking. As a prosecutor, I represented the United States in numerous federal jury and bench trials and argued multiple cases before the Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, including the Fourth and Ninth Circuits. I also have experience handling copyright and trademark litigation matters at a national law firm, and I have represented victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in state court.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. On weekends you can catch me chasing after my three young boys at the local parks, hosting parties at my home, or exploring all the food the Bay Area has to offer.
