Sara Azari is a solo-practitioner and lead attorney at the Law Office of Sara Azari from 2005 to present. In the two decades of practicing law, she has earned a reputation as a tough and aggressive attorney who successfully represents clients from investigation through trial. Prior to entering private practice, Sara was an associate with the prestigious international law firm Baker & McKenzie in their Rio de Janeiro, Brazil offices where she represented large international corporations as well as individuals in due diligence investigations and FCPA violations.
Sara’s clients range from individuals accused of misdemeanor and felony crimes in state and federal district courts, as well as individuals and corporations accused of federal white collar violations including mail and wire fraud, tax fraud, healthcare fraud, defendants in drug and human trafficking matters, as well as fugitives in extradition proceedings. Sara has also successfully defended members of the military accused of sexual misconduct in court marshals, as well as licensed professionals against collateral disciplinary proceedings following a criminal conviction.
Sara is also a media contributor and legal analyst, as well as an author. She frequently appears as a commentator on national and cable news networks including CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and ABC.
