Marta Barceló joined Uría Menéndez in 2016 and she is an associate of the firm.
Marta specialises in criminal law and criminal litigation, particularly corporate crime, advising and representing corporate clients and their directors, managers and employees before the Spanish courts.
She has relevant experience in criminal proceedings for fraud, embezzlement, corporate mismanagement, fraudulent insolvency, tax fraud, money laundering, environmental crimes, crimes against employees’ rights, cybercrime and corruption.
She also advises companies on the design and implementation of corporate compliance programmes and on national and international internal investigations.
