GHATUL ABDUL is an Associate with the Firm’s Labor & Employment Group. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2011. Ms. Abdul graduated with her Juris Doctor Degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in May 2018. Prior to law school, she taught Literacy and Math in the under-resourced Halifax County public school system in North Carolina as a member of Teach For America.
During law school, Ms. Abdul was a student attorney in the Impact Litigation Clinic at Seton Hall Law School’s Center for Social Justice. In this role, she worked on cases representing indigent clients before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Ms. Abdul also served as a legal intern in Newark with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Abdul served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert H. Gardner, J.S.C., in Superior Court of New Jersey in Essex County. She is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey. Ms. Abdul is also fluent in Farsi, Dari, Pashto, and Urdu.
